Ben-Ben

Story: From the moment he stepped out of Linda’s car, I was totally in love with Ben-Ben.  He was my first cocker from Carolina Cocker Spaniel Rescue (CCSR), and he will always be my heart and soul forever even though he left this earth on February 1, 2007.  There’s not an hour or a minute that goes by that I don’t think of him. 
 

Two of my favorite memories of Ben are his cute little wiggle butt greeting me with a toy in his mouth every time I returned home and the fact that I could just mention “Linda”, and he would look like a kid at Christmas dashing off to the front window to see Santa! 
 

Thank you, “Angel Ben”, for 8 years of unbelievable friendship and love and for opening my eyes to the rescue world and the real meaning of unconditional love.  Time is supposed to heal, so they say, but time has only made me realize how much I miss you and what you mean to me.  I am so excited about seeing you again one day!
