CARA's Little Star

Cajun

Submitted by: Lori Oakley

Story: Growing up as a “dog” person, I never envisioned myself owning a cat.  That all changed in the fall of 2005.  I found myself staring into the eyes of a small white Hurricane Katrina kitten that had a gray tail and ear.  She had made her way up to NC along with her siblings and she was the only one left that needed a home.   My husband convinced me that we should adopt her and the rest is history.  I named her Cajun and she has been our “little baby” ever since.  We ended up adopting 2 more rescue cats but Cajun is still the baby of the family.   She loves to torment her brother and sister by chasing their shadows and when she is not busy doing that, she loves to “make biscuits” with her cute little paws and purr.
