Story: Ellie was a stray that Bonnie Pobiner, Raleigh, NC adopted in May 2006 when she was probably about a year old.  Ellie showed up at a coworker's house in bad shape - matted fur that made it painful for Ellie to walk and the poor dear was covered with at least 200 ticks.  Ellie looked like a different dog the next day after a trip to the vet and groomer. Ellie also has a beautiful full tail that is always wagging and gives her a definite prance to her step.   Ellie was thrilled to join Bonnie and her new cocker spaniel sister, Meg.  Meg and Ellie are now inseparable and also have a 2-legged sister that Bonnie adopted in October 2007.  Anastasia is 3.5 years old,  from Russia, and adores her cocker spaniel sisters.
