CARA's Little Star

Lady Coco

Story: To add to our growing cocker clan, Chuck surprised me Christmas eve of 2003 by needing to leave the house to do something. He can home a short time later and I kept hearing these whining and barking sounds coming from the garage.  I went to the garage in investigate and there was a beautiful little buff and white parti cocker baby girl with little freckles on her short little face.

Chuck had planned on giving to me Christmas morning but she was having none of that! She missed her mommy and sister and was just pitching a fit in her little crate. I'll never forget watching her eat in the bathroom the next morning. It was like one of these play dough machines, what you put in one side, just comes out in a different form on the other side!

She has ruled the house ever since and is the Princess. This was many years ago and I had no idea about over breeding etc. and regretfully, her mom was overbread so since around age 4, my poor girl has just had one health problem after another but she keeps trucking on. Her main mission in life is to keep track of me, so she follows me as best she can from room to room throughout the house and if I try and close the gate, she barks until I come and get her. I have such wonderful memories of our beloved boys and they blessed our lives with such love and joy.
