Riley and Murphy

Story: Robin and Linda that helped me get my baby girl, Murphy.  They rescued her from a terrible backyard breeder, along with dozens of other little shih tzus.  Linda found rescues all around NC to help take these little guys, but Robin brought Murphy to me.  She was only 5 weeks old.  Murphy will be 7 yrs old next month.

 When Murphy was 5, I decided she may want a companion to play with.  Robin and I both started looking on-line and Robin found a listing from a shih-tzu rescue out of Greensboro about a 5 year old black & white shih tzu whose owner had turned him in because the family had recently had a baby.  Robin and the lady from the rescue started communicating and found out that this was one of the rescues that helped to take all those little shih tzus from Murphy’s backyard breeder.  Then they started comparing notes since both dogs were 5 and found out that Murphy and Riley were actually half brother & sister.  They share the same father!  So it was just meant to be.  Needless to say, they didn’t get along at first like typical bothers & sisters, but they’re best buds now!
