smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hand.”
One thing is for certain, our pets are more
than animals - they brighten our lives in a way no human can.
They give us a reason to get up in the morning when we don't
want to, they make us laugh when we feel like crying, they love
us when we're least lovable. CARA has decided it's only right
that they should shine where others can see them, too, so we
have created a place to recognize them. We invite you join
us and visit the CARA's
own evening sky, filled with little stars.
Each star in the sky represents a well-loved
dog, cat, or other animal. Want to see their story?
Click on the star. You can also read through the registry
to see their stories. Whether they're here with us now or
are waiting for us at the rainbow bridge, they have all brightened our
lives and are welcome to shine with the others in a special
place we've created here at CARA.
We hope you'll consider adding your own
pets and stories, too. Each star comes with his or her own web page,
which will include their name, the submitter's name, a short
story (or any other words you'd like to use - poem, limerick,
haiku, quotations, etc.), and a picture. All donations will go
to help cocker spaniels who need help. Together, we can
celebrate our own babies while helping others. :)
We hope you will consider adding your own stars
to the sky. Donations can be made in one pet ($25.00), two
pet ($45.00), or three pet ($60.00) increments. Donations can
be made through check. You may honor or
memorialize your own pets or purchase a star as a gift for a
friend.
